About Me

I offer a specialised support service for people with Brain Injuries after the acute phase of injury. I am very passionate about helping others achieve their goals and ultimately their best.  I assist, support, enable, and empower the client's journey of personal development, fulfillment, and improved quality of life.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Exercise and Health Studies (Hons) and am a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) by the Brain Injury Association of America.  I have over fifteen years experience working in the area of Brain Injury Rehabilitation, Cognitive Rehabilitation, and Specialised Educational Support.

I have delivered Wellness programs on Brain Injury Strategies, Cognitive Rehabilitation, Exercise, Nutrition, and Mindfulness following Brain Injury. I have extensive training in the area of Stress and Anxiety Management, Challenging Behaviors, Epilepsy, and Trauma.

Enable Independence is Registered as a Professional Member with the Vocational Rehabilitation Association, VRA, a Registered Practitioner with the British Association of Brain Injury and Complex Cases, BABICM, and a Registered Member with the Society for Cognitive Rehabilitation.

Enable Independence continuously aims to adhere to the professional Code of Ethics of Member Associations and participate in regular continuous professional development.
